Our client is major writer of non-standard personal auto and commercial property and casualty products in south Florida. Their commercial division covers service to heavy use commercial vehicles and liability coverage for garage dealers and artisan contractors. Their claims department is rapidly growing and they seek an individual with supervisory experience to oversee a team of 8-10 adjusters and service staff. You'll be in charge of file reviews, authority settlements, ratio and reserving accuracy for property damage claims. You'll oversee the performance and development of your direct reports and be involved in the hiring of new staff. You'll coordinate customer complaints with the state insurance division and report to upper management on the achievement of goals by your team. To be considered you must have 2-4 years of experience handling property damage claims. Prior supervisory experience preferred.
