Our client is a regional property casualty carrier rated 'excellent' by AM Best and has an annual written premium of $100 million. Specializing in personal and commercial business, they have a reputation for integrity, service and value to families and small businesses in the southern New England area. They seek an experienced professional to join their finance department in the newly created actuary position. This position will conduct pricing analysis and risk assessments to determine financial outcomes. You'll work closely with underwriting and product development to set pricing, loss reserving and provide rate filing assistance for multiple P&C product lines. This is an opportunity for an individual to shape the responsibilities of this position and positively impact the company as their first actuary. To be considered you must offer 6+ years of experience in pricing and IBNR reserving for property/casualty products. A bachelor's degree is required along with work towards, or successful completion of, the ASA or FSA designation. Salary is competitive and based on experience.
