AL Mobile Manager of Marketing & Account Service
 

Our client is a privately held, independent agency serving businesses and individuals in the Gulf Coast for over 100 years. They've built a business based on excellent customer service, dedication and innovation in risk management techniques for large and small accounts. One way our client distinguishes themselves from competitors is through the role played by the Manager of Marketing & Account Service. This position first serves as a sales and marketing consultant to attract large account business and aid in the renewal of existing accounts. With the account executive and the marketing team, this position visits with the client to assess their exposures and create a risk management program. In this role, you'll be designing marketing strategies and negotiating rates and coverage with multiple insurance carriers. Throughout the year you'll coordinate safety programs with the risk managers and help adapt coverage based on client endorsements and claims. When a claim occurs you'll be on site to take pictures, gather statements and police reports, and advise the insured in conjunction with the insurance company. This position requires an in-depth knowledge of the insurance market and underwriting to design deductible and self-insured retention programs for large national and international clients. A background in loss control and safety management will serve to create a comprehensive risk assessment of the client and/or prospect. The successful candidate understands the sales process and has an extensive career working for an agency or insurance company in a direct customer service role.
