 Louisville Director of Field Marketing
 

Our client is an entrepreneurial organization. They are licensed to sell life insurance and annuities in all 50 states. Their all-electronic method offers maximum cost savings. They can also add greater efficiencies to the conventional paper-based application and administration methods. Their continued growth has created an opportunity to join their dynamic organization as Director of Field Marketing. In this position you will be responsible for developing their field marketing team to increase penetration of life insurance sales through agents and annuity sales through broker/dealers. As Director, you will manage a team of internal sales reps and marketing personnel. Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, implement and manage agent/broker training and communication program

  • Develop, implement and manage field marketing efforts, including

  • Sales incentive programs

  • Creation of agent/broker marketing materials

  • Procedures and sales/service training for agent support call center

    •

  • Assist in implementation of products on third party distribution platforms

  • Manage key intermediary relationships and expand distribution to new market segments

  • Develop, with Finance and Strategy, key metrics for measuring success of agent distribution efforts
    •

    This senior level position requires an experienced, team orientated individual who is a motivated, self-starter with the capacity to challenge the existing orthodoxy around life and annuity agent distribution. It is essential that the individual possess a high degree of creativity, exemplary communication skills and a proven capacity to build strong internal and external relationships. In addition, solid execution skills are a must as is a strong attention to detail and follow through. This is a rare opportunity to make a major impact on a growing, dynamic young company. Ten or more years of field marketing and/or sales experience needed. Series 6 & 7 and life & health insurance licenses are a plus, but not required.
