Our client specializes in residential insurance for Florida property owners. Their singular focus has led to innovative ways of providing their clients with the superior service and comprehensive coverage that they deserve, while keeping premiums affordable. They have built up a strong financial foundation. Due to continued success they are presently offering the opportunity to join their underwriting team. Multiple opportunities exist for individuals at differing levels of underwriting experience. As an underwriter for our client you will underwrite new and renewal business for multiple states. Responsibilities include evaluating new business applications and third party reports to verify compliance with company's underwriting guidelines. Assisting agents, CSR's, and Claims Department with eligibility questions and policy interpretation. Analyzing inforce policy data and loss histories to verify continued eligibility. Work closely with the Marketing Department to manage agencies' books of business by monitoring and analyzing agency performance and trends. Perform other duties as necessary to maintain a profitable book of business. To be considered you will need to offer around 3 or more years underwriting Residential Property policies.
