Our client is a well established and respected managing general underwriter of excess stop loss coverage for employer health plans. They are a full service MGU. They have full authority for underwriting, policy binding, contract issue, premium collection and claims payment. They are looking to add a strong Stop Loss Underwriter or Senior Underwriter to their staff due to continued growth. In this position you will work out of your home and can be located anywhere within the Western portion of the United States. To be considered, you will need to offer around four or more years of underwriting group health products (self funded and/or stop loss) in a large group setting. You must be comfortable in communicating with brokers and clients when needed, and the desire to be part of a strong team culture. This position will have significant contact with clientele, and therefore a professional demeanor is a must.
