Our client has recently created several positions for Senior Commercial Lines Staff Underwriting professionals. As a member of their Staff Underwriting department you will serve as a product/underwriting expert for specific products, states, and special projects. This will include working on a high-profile, strategic initiatives. Depending on your experience you may be working with product managers, actuaries, and IT associates to develop new products and modify existing products. In this role part of your responsibilities will be to stay current on changes in the marketplace regarding regulations, products, and pricing. You will be involved in writing new manuals/manual pages, working with IT to modify/create forms in the underwriting system, and working with actuaries to set prices for the overall product. You will also present recommendations to senior management regarding product changes. To be considered you will need to offer around six or more years of product related commercial lines underwriting experience. Product development and home office experience preferred.
