FL Pensacola Group Manager, Medicare Part D
 

Our client is the country's leading administrator of Medicare Supplement policies, and an innovator in the growing field of geriatric care management. They are backed with the financial strength of their parent holding company specializing in senior insurance products. They presently offer an opportunity to join their organization in a newly created position in Florida. As the company's new Group Manager, Medicare Part D, you will be managing the overall activities of Group Insurance processing for Medicare Part D enrollment, billing and group member reconciliation to includes new client/program set-up, systems evaluation for special processing requests, interfacing with internal and external clients and liaison to group insurance administrators for ongoing operational processing. You will be:

  • Responsible for managing and ensuring a successful implementation of external vendor systems and appropriate interfaces with systems. (only related to group specific items)
  • Responsible for managing the implementation of GROUP Medicare regulations and related products.
  • Act as department's liaison internally and externally in all matter affecting the Medicare Retiree Drug Subsidy (RDS) and/or an Employer's Wrap around program of Medicare Part D and other Group business such as State Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs.
  • Manage the overall activities of the Group processed Memberships, including enrollment, billing, statistical reporting, Direct pay, COBRA, Membership reconciliations, Commercial group accounts, other Membership and Accounting related system issues.
  • Manage, review, monitor and control the membership and Billing operation with efficiency and effectiveness of all group accounts and other governmental programs.
  • Meet with high-level internal and external executives from client organizations and governmental agencies to resolve problems and implement new programs.
  • Evaluating the performance of personnel.
  • Manage the design/revision and implementation of internal departmental systems and procedures.
  • Develop quality and production standard to assure efficient workflow.
  • Reviewing the integrity of the Accounts Receivable Report and recommending appropriate adjustments to the Accounting department.
  • To be considered you will need to offer a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Management or related field and around Five to Seven years of experience with Group Insurance. Plus, offer around three years of working experience in membership and/or project management in health insurance industry, preferably Medicare or Medicaid. Strong communication, planning and organizational skills and ability to meet stringent deadlines are a must.
