Our client is a regional carrier with a long successful tradition. They consistently have been assigned an excellent rating by AM Best. Currently they offer an opportunity to join their home office underwriting department as a Product Manager. Two opportunities are available presently. A Product Manager for Property and a Product Manager for General Liability line of business. With both positions, the individual will be responsible for establishing underwriting guidelines, providing Regional training and assisting Regional management in maintaining profitability for their product line. This involves utilizing strong analytical skills and an in-depth knowledge of Property, Inland Marine & BOP underwriting practices and procedures or utilizing strong analytical skills and an in-depth knowledge of General Liability Underwriting Practices and Procedures respectively. To be considered for the property position, you must offer comprehensive knowledge of property, inland marine & BOP management, underwriting practices, coverages, policies and forms. To be considered for the General Liability position you must offer comprehensive knowledge of General Liability management, underwriting practices, coverages, policies and forms. Both opportunities require well-developed analytical, decision-making, organizational and leadership skills. High-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to effectively manage/facilitate team members on long-term projects. Insurance industry coursework such as CPCU coursework required.
