CT Farmington Product Manager
 

Our client writes and manages more than $1 billion in personal and commercial auto and homeowner's insurance across the Northeast. They presently offer opportunities to join their company in a Product Manager role in either CT or NH. As a Product Manager for our client you will function at both the strategic and operational level in order to grow and develop market opportunities in CT or NH. This position will implement and oversee product and market initiatives as well as function as the primary liaison between the organization and their sales agents to ensure seamless execution of their respective state operations. Additionally, you will "own" the income statement for the business for which you are responsible and as such have true P&L responsibility. This is a true generalist position and the ideal fit would be an individual who is skilled in marketing, finance or statistics and grounded in solid management execution ability. To be considered you will need to offer your MA/MS/MBA or related along with around 10+ years of financial services or insurance business experience which includes at least five years of management and P&L responsibility. Consulting experience a plus. Ability to make decisions based upon analysis and synthesis of non-obvious relationships from often-conflicting data, including the ability to innovate when confronted by ambiguity. Comfort from experience working with sophisticated quantitative tools; a successful track record of managing complex, multi-functional projects requiring collaboration and teamwork. Ability to anticipate and address pro-actively issues that may arise from the plans and actions of one's team (or oneself). Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills allowing effective interaction with distributors, colleagues and executives - assertiveness coupled with collegiality. Ability to attract talent, to coach and develop colleagues, and to build an enduring organization. Solid leadership skills and demonstrated ability to build motivate and inspire a team.
