Our client is a prominent property/casualty carrier serving the western United States and is a subsidiary of a Fortune 500 company. They offer a broad range of business and personal insurance products to small and middle-market customers. As a result of consistent profitability our client is creating new underwriting teams in response to increased business production and strong account retention. Your primary responsibilities will be training and mentoring a team of 7-15 underwriters and support staff. You'll assess regional product and marketing strategies and implement efficient underwriting processes. Strong teamwork, project management and leadership skills are needed. The successful candidate will have 5-7 years in the insurance industry as a multi-line, P&C underwriter. Prior supervisory or management experience is needed. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
