Created and owned by CPAs, they are a mutual company with unique solutions to the evolving climate of accountant malpractice. They currently offer an opportunity to join their loss prevention division as a risk management specialist. Your primary responsibility will be to counsel insureds in risk management practices with an emphasis on accounting and auditing issues. You'll monitor and respond to insureds' questions through the loss prevention hotline and e-commerce channels. You'll identify and develop risk management tools and build a support network of external resources. You'll work closely with claims and underwriting to develop educational programs and write articles pertaining to current industry issues for the company newsletter. A strong customer service background is needed along with technical knowledge of the accounting industry. A bachelor's degree in business, accounting or a related field and a CPA certification is needed. Salary is competitive and based on experience.
