Our Property and Casualty Commercial Insurance client is an A rated, financially strong, and very employee friendly Insurance Company. Due to promotions and profitable growth, we are assisting them in seeking several Inland Marine Underwriters. These positions can be located in any of the New England states, plus upper state New York.

Responsibilities for this position include the execution of the underwriting and marketing strategies for inland and ocean marine specialty lines, identifying and implementing underwriting strategies necessary to support profitable growth goals, and developing agency relationships to cross-market specialty and commercial lines. The person in this position is expected to deliver superior underwriting quality, monitor and ensure profitability of the existing book of business, and attracting and retaining quality Agents. The ideal candidate will have a college degree, at least 3 years of commercial underwriting experience, and 2 years of inland marine underwriting experience.
