Our client is a well known, National Property and Casualty Insurance Company who specializes in Workers Compensation insurance. Do to growth they are seeking a Director of Medical Bill Review. You will direct and coordinate activities, review work, and provide technical guidance to staff. You will direct and coordinate department activities, assuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Conducts performance evaluations, makes recommendations as to salary adjustments, discipline, termination, hiring, and promotion. Overall responsibility of managing all processing of medical bills. Medical claim review background is necessary. Candidates may be from a workers compensation claim background or healthcare claims. Must be fluent in medical terminology. Experience with Power Track System is helpful. Responsibilities: Evaluates training needs; schedules and coordinates training. Communicates with agents and insured's to resolve problems and answer questions. Conducts physical audits on significant accounts. Coordinates activities of department with interrelated activities of other departments. Evaluates current procedures and implements alternate methods when appropriate. Maintains necessary records and prepares reports. Requirements: Bachelors Degree. Five years workers' compensation medical bill review experience and 2 - 3 years of management experience.
