Our client is a leading risk and insurance services firm. Due to continued growth, they offer an opportunity to join their dynamic organization as a Brokerage Marketing Specialist. In this role you will utilize your technical expertise in the marketing of non medical professional liability insurance placements to multiple insurance companies. You will negotiate the best possible coverage and premium with various markets for the applicant's consideration. Direct the underwriting staff in the negotiation of insurance coverage. Interface with the insurance company and/or reinsurance representatives. Travel out of state to attend professional liability seminars, visit producers, present proposals to potential or current insureds, or meet with insurance company personnel. This position will require you to maintain a strong working knowledge of insurance products offered and report routinely to management on changes in the market place and carriers offering professional liability coverage. You will need to maintain a commercial lines property and casualty license in good standing with the Iowa Insurance Department on a resident basis and other states on a non resident basis as directed by the business need to hold such non resident licenses. To be considered you will need to offer around five or more years of professional liability underwriting or marketing experience.
