Our client has been providing financial security to individuals and their families for over 120 years. They are rated "Superior" by AM Best. They presently offer an opportunity to join their underwriting management staff. As the Director of Underwriting you will be responsible for department production and training. You will evaluate underwriting performance and procedures and will be involved with product development and field management with respect to underwriting issues. You will also be the key underwriting contact with vendors and re-insurers. To be considered you will need to offer around ten or more years of related underwriting and supervisory experience working with individual term and whole life insurance. Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy. Working knowledge of applicable insurance regulations. LOMA-FALU experience a plus.
