Our client is a leading health and life insurer and benefits administrator, has been committed to serving employer based healthcare for almost a century. Our current search will work for the division of our client company that serves as a consulting arm to the medical business units to optimize control of medical, pharmacy, and dental claim costs, via the right partnerships with provider networks and cost containment vendors. Our client offers an opportunity to join their actuarial team as an AVP & Actuary. In this position you will have responsibility for providing and interpreting the results of their financial evaluations to the pricing actuaries, and to other senior management. To be considered, our client would like a minimum of three years health insurance experience. Managed care experience is preferred. Career ASA to FSA will be considered. You must have the ability to translate technical terms to a non-technical audience. Strong programming experience will be needed, SAS preferred. Database management skills a must.
