Our client exclusively provides professional liability coverage and risk management services for the accounting industry. Created and owned by CPAs, they are a mutual company with unique solutions to the evolving climate of accountant malpractice. Due to continued profitability the company seeks a senior professional liability underwriter to spearhead their employment practices liability (EPLI) line. You'll draft and develop underwriting processes and procedures and train existing staff members on this new coverage. You'll work closely with the actuarial and compliance departments to ensure proper pricing and filing of the coverage forms. You'll help coordinate the marketing and agency management of this new product to existing partners and monitor the submission and hit ratios of these agents. You'll be responsible for annual production goals and can increase volume by contracting with new agencies. A bachelor's degree is required with 5-7 years of underwriting experience. Must have a broad professional liability background preferably with a specialty in employment practices liability.
