They presently offer an opportunity to join their organization's accounting department. As an Accountant for this client, you will be responsible for reinsurance analysis, accounting and reporting along with insurance company regulatory requirements, general ledger account reconciliation's and other accounting duties. Specifically, other duties will include: 

  • Assist with quarterly and annual regulatory accounting, reporting and insurance department filing.
  • Record keeping relating to investment transactions and investment portfolio.
  • Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliation's.
  • Perform data entry into general ledger system.
  • Print and distribute monthly financial reports.
  • Maintain vendor files and other files as directed for Accounting Department.

  • Produce Excel Spreadsheets.

 

To be considered you must offer a four year degree in Accounting and around three (3) to seven (7) years of accounting experience with specific experience with the outlined responsibilities. Those with a two (2) degree with emphasis on accounting could also be considered for another opportunity within our client company.
