They have been included in A.M. Best's highest rating category (Superior) for more than 65 years. They presently seek a Chief Property Casualty Actuary to work in their corporate office in IL. As Chief Actuary you are responsible for developing, directing and administering corporate actuarial philosophy including pricing, product development and analysis of underwriting rules and data to achieve established growth, profit, service and expense ratio goals. To be considered you must offer extensive knowledge of rate making theories, principles and practices. Ability to manage relationships, resources and maintain actuarial best practices. Demonstrate awareness of insurance industry practices, current problems and possible solutions suggested by the industry, government and the public. Prior management experience and highly developed written and verbal communication skills. Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) is required.
