Our client is a National Commercial Lines Property and Casualty Insurance Company home based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Very employee oriented and close to their clients and Agents. Due to profitable growth and expansion, we are seeking a Director of Agency/Business Development. This Corporate position will be based at our clients Corporate office in Indianapolis. You will have 7 to 15 years of a positive progression into Insurance Commercial Lines Marketing and Agency Development Management. You will be creative, professional, high energy, pro active, a mentor, and have strong Leadership and Sales skills. Middle to Large commercial marketing account experience is needed. Candidates will have a strong Marketing background, are currently involved in Independent Agency Marketing, Agency Development, and or Underwriting. You will be responsible for Directing and Managing a group of Business Development Specialists around the country. This opportunity is for the entrepreneur, who enjoys working as part of a Management team, and desires to make a difference. You will have a multi line Commercial Insurance Marketing, and Agency Development background, with at least 2 years in a Management position developing staff. Commercial Underwriting experience would also be helpful. Multi state experience is preferred.
