Our client is a reputable managing general agency that has experienced significant growth and profitability over the course of their 40 year history. They represent over 2,500 agents in the southeast and offer both broad and specialized property/casualty and personal insurance products. They currently have a need for an experienced commercial auto underwriter with a strong background in transportation coverage. As an underwriter you'll be responsible for meeting new business production and high renewal retention rates. You'll work with regional agencies to increase submission flow, ensure successful hit ratios and curb loss frequency and severity. To be considered you must offer at least 2-4 years of experience as an underwriter with the majority of time spent underwriting commercial auto accounts. Exposure to coverage such as liability, physical damage, inland marine and general liability is needed. Must have strong underwriting philosophies with the ability to work in a team setting.
