Our client has been in business for more than a century in the world of insurance and financial services. They have a broad range of group and individual products and are looking to add a Product Manager to their staff in Indianapolis. You will ensure that all product development and enhancement requirements are developed including underwriting guidelines, actuarial rate and factor development, reinsurance coverage, compliance, filings, and claims processes. You will also work with competitive intelligence, product strategy development, business case rationalization and the coordination of policy/form filings. Other duties include identifying and promoting competitive niches in products and new positioning concepts. This person will work with functional leaders and be responsible for the execution of these components as they relate to product development, business requirement development, implementation planning and rollout.

Qualified candidates will have 5-8 years of experience with insurance product research and product development experience is required. Experience leading teams through the product development life cycle and implementation. Product knowledge must include extensive understanding of group life, disability, and voluntary products.
