Our client is a leading risk and insurance services firm. Due to continued growth, they offer an opportunity to join their dynamic organization as a Senior Group Life & Disability Underwriter. In this role you will utilize your underwriting expertise to work with your team to be certain everything is covered from an underwriting perspective by the team when creating a proposal for the client. Other responsibilities will include providing analysis to close new or cross business. This position requires experience with large cases (over 5,000 employee lives) including knowledge of alternative funding methods, renewal experience, knowledge of retention components, understanding of how to establish appropriate reserve levels, marketing experience and strong product knowledge. To be considered you will need to offer around five (5) or more years experience in group life and disability underwriting, large case experience and knowledge of alternative funding.
