Our client is a start up agency in the Greater Des Moines area looking to expand. They have an exciting opportunity to be a part of the foundation of this exciting endeavor. They are looking for an Account Manager to join their team in their Employee Benefits division. Responsibilities will include client service for existing customers, marketing to insurance carriers, preparing RFPs and Excel spreadsheets, and general customer service. This person will also be expected to take incoming sales-related calls and brainstorm for current and prospective client cross-selling opportunities. Qualified candidates will have 5-7 years of applicable experience in the benefits division of an agency. Must be detail-oriented and able to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
