Our client is a growing independent insurance broker who has been in business since 1972. They provide an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Senior Marketing Analyst in their Torrance, CA office. The person in this position will be responsible for the marketing / bid solicitation of group insurance products pertaining to employee benefits. The lines of coverage will include medical, Rx, mental health, dental, vision, life / AD&D, LTD and stop loss. Responsibilities will include negotiation with the carriers, preparation of rate and benefit comparisons for group marketing projects, and, if necessary recommending alternate plan designs to meet the client's needs. This position requires a B.A. or B.S. degree and at least 5 years related experience with a brokerage or consulting firm. Experience in dealing with clients in the hospital/medical group sector preferred, but not required. Industry designation(s) would be a plus.
