Our client is part of one of the country's leading insurance and annuity providers. This wholly owned subsidiary's primary focus is on fixed and equity-indexed annuities. From the very beginning, this company has always been on sound financial footing. They presently offer an opportunity to join their marketing department in Eastern Kansas in a newly created Marketing Director role. In this position your responsibilities will be directed toward assisting the Independent Marketing Organizations (IMO's.) This will include activities such as making contact on a weekly basis with these IMO's. Assist with sales meetings and recruiting seminars. Assist with potential problems regarding licensing, necessary documentation of production, and agent commissions payable. Assist in development of marketing pieces for recruiting, marketing and advertising. Research and implement ways to increase number of agents licensed and increase production from contracted agents. Promote annuity products, sales ideas, and contests to IMOs and their agents. Ensure a good business relationship between our client and the IMOs, including increasing number of licensed agents and increasing production. To be considered, you will need to offer a 4-year degree in marketing, communications, or a related field with a minimum of two or more years applicable marketing experience in the life insurance/annuity business. You must have proven managerial skills, strong leadership and relationship building skills, and must be capable of managing multiple, complex projects while meeting company goals and deadlines.
