They presently offer an opportunity to join their organization as a Senior Marketing Consultant. In this position you will be responsible to provide leadership for creating and implementing marketing strategies, marketing systems, initiatives, collateral materials, and training programs for the universal life business unit. You will provide sales support to targeted distribution channels to increase market share. Lead the development and implementation of complex marketing strategies, systems, initiatives and projects, including problem/opportunity identification, initiation of research, and developing alternatives/recommendations. Initiate, develop, and implement effective presale/postsale marketing support for targeted distribution channels, including alliances. Consult with distribution management and wholesalers on marketing initiatives and recommend appropriate solutions to meet market needs. Create and implement business unit training programs, collateral materials and communication plans. Consult and provide technical/ product and concept expertise (internal/external) to ensure distribution and business unit staff receive appropriate support and training to provide effective solutions for customers. Identify research needs and analyze research results to identify market opportunities, work through appropriate solutions and make recommendations to senior management. Represent marketing in developing new products and modifying existing products to meet business unit objectives. To be considered, you must offer a college degree and around 6-8 years experience in individual life marketing or sales. Experience with Universal Life strongly preferred. NASD registration/ licensing with Series 6 and/or 63 required. CLU, ChFC, CFP, FLMI, or other industry designations are highly desired. Requires the ability to implement marketing strategies and understand marketing systems. You must have excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, presentation, leadership and time management skills. Requires strong verbal and written communications skills, negotiation skills, and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships. Travel is limited. Our client offers exceptional benefits.
