Currently our client offers an opportunity to join their Group Underwriting department as an Underwriting Training & Development Specialist in their Georgia operation. In this position you will be responsible for the organization, preparation and delivery of technical and procedural training within the Group Underwriting Department. You will manage numerous projects, oversee the audit program, as well as prepare or revise technical manual, documents and procedures. To be considered, you will need to offer proven organizational, written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong mathematical aptitude. Preference will be given to the candidate with a professional designation, e.g. LOMA, HIAA, CLU, etc. This position requires a college degree. Strong preference will be given to those with prior Group Underwriting experience in LTD, STD, Life, Dental and Stop Loss products. Working knowledge of QuotePlus highly desired.
