Our client is a highly respected Des Moines insurance organization with over fifty years experience in the local market. They are poised for growth and currently offer an opportunity to join their dynamic team as a Commercial Lines Claims Consultant. Individual would educate the client on the claim process for various losses, ensure proper communication of loss information to the client and carrier, and assist the client in properly determining coverage. Responsibilities will include analysis of claim data to determine trends using Excel spreadsheets, promptly notifying all parties in litigated matters, and ensure timely notice of new lawsuits for clients. Knowledge of standard claim processing procedures, ability to use expertise and professional judgment in analyzing simple to complex coverage requirements, identifying appropriate resources, and resolving complex insurance issues are critical to success in this role. Qualified candidates will have 2-3 years of Commercial Property and Casualty claims experience. Commercial and personal insurance license required within first three months of employment.
