Our client is a regional carrier with a long successful tradition. They consistently have been assigned an excellent rating by AM Best. Currently they offer an opportunity to join their claims department as a Commercial Casualty Adjuster and a Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist. In these positions you will be responsible for the investigation, documentation, evaluation and negotiation of Motor Carrier Casualty claims. Duties include performing coverage analysis, establishing proper claim reserves and settling claims. To be considered for the Commercial Casualty Adjuster you will need to offer a minimum of 2 years casualty claims adjusting experience either personal lines or commercial lines. To be considered for the Commercial Casualty Claims Specialist, you will need to offer around three or more years experience handling Motor Carrier Casualty claims. For both positions a Bachelor's degree and/or advanced insurance education (AIC, SCLA, CPCU) is desired. High-level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills necessary, as well as well-developed analytical and effective negotiation skills and strong decision-making and good judgment abilities. The successful candidate will also have the ability to be highly productive in an imaged (paperless) environment and be comfortable with utilizing several computer systems.
