Our client is one of the nation's leading healthcare management and information services companies. They are currently preparing to open an office in Kentucky. This presents an opportunity to be an integral part of the foundation of this exciting endeavor. They are seeking a qualified candidate possessing a minimum of 3 years account management or major supervisory role for a government or large private sector payor or provider. You will be responsible for MMIS operations, Pharmacy Point-Of-Service, and their Preferred Drug List (PDL) program. Relationship skills are crucial as this individual will develop and maintain strong relations with all levels at the State of Kentucky Medicaid organization, provider associations, and the company's management team to insure good operational effectiveness and communication. Previous management experience in Medicaid and Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) operations and knowledge of HIPAA preferred. Must be 100% dedicated to Kentucky and be located in Lexington, KY. Individual must have current KY pharmacist license.
