Our client is a successful, financially strong, employee oriented, Personal Lines Insurance Company based in Florida. Due to growth we are assisting them with hiring an Automobile Product Manager. Responsibilities will include, managing a staff of Product Analysts. Responsible for the development of products, product enhancements, competitive analysis, coordinating changes with the Systems, Underwriting, Marketing and Compliance departments, as well as the Senior Staff. You will compares company products to competitors for rates, underwriting rules, and markets. Conducts analysis in pricing, loss ratios, agency, and customer satisfaction. Responds to Department of Insurance requests. Conducts modeling of pricing and change impacts as well as forecasting. Continuous product refinement and enhancement. Directly supervises employees within the Product Development department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, and appraising performance. Qualifications: College degree, and or four to ten years related experience. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Personal lines insurance experience in underwriting, compliance, and product development. Excellent compensation package including relocation assistance.
