Our client is a highly recognized national broker with a significant presence in Southern California. They have three positions available for Commercial Lines Customer Service professionals. A Customer Service Representative opportunity is located in Sherman Oaks. Duties include, but are not limited to providing support to Account Managers and Producers in servicing clients and maintaining relationships with underwriters. In addition, the position will be involved in the processing and invoicing of policy endorsements, renewals and cancellations. To be considered you will need to offer a P&C license, a strong knowledge of Commercial Lines and 2-4 years of agency customer service experience. In addition, you must have completed IEA courses in Commercial General Liability and Property insurance and must be pursuing designations. Along with the insurance expertise, you must have computer proficiency including a basic knowledge of Power Point, Excel, Word and experience with Applied or a similar system. The second opportunity is located in Irvine. This is an Account Manager position. Duties include, but are not limited to servicing and administering client accounts with an emphasis on Surplus Lines. Responsibilities will include such activities as determining appropriate coverages and premium structures along with the processing of binders, policies, certificates, endorsements, as well as marketing client accounts with carriers. Other responsibilities could include training and supervisory tasks. To be considered you will need to offer your P&C license and around 5 years of Commercial Lines Experience. Knowledge of Surplus Lines along with a CISR and/or CIC designation is preferred. The third opportunity is located in Pasadena and is a Senior Account Manager role. Duties include identifying opportunities and selling products and/or services to existing clients. Responsibilities will also include evaluating potential exposures, appropriate coverages, marketing to carriers and processing related policies, endorsements and cancellations. Other responsibilities could include training and supervisory tasks. To be consider you will need to offer your P&C license and have around 6 years Commercial Lines experience. Malpractice experience is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with TAM/Applied would be helpful. A CISR and/or CIC designation is preferred.
