Our client is a privately held insurance carrier with more than 20 years experience in specialized property/casualty insurance. They are a leader in commercial insurance products for transportation, public auto and workers compensation. Their commercial auto department is among the fastest growing in the insurance industry. They currently offer an opportunity as a junior actuarial analyst. In this position you will contribute to the analytical efforts of the company by providing data-driven recommendations for underwriting and claims metrics. You'll perform rate reviews by states and products, quantification of indicated price changes and rate change impacts on existing and future customers. You'll also prepare filing submissions, data analysis and quarterly loss and LAE reserve projections, including Schedule P. Bachelor's degree is required with 2-3 years of experience. Completion of some CAS tests preferred. Knowledge of commercial auto and work comp lines a plus. Competitive salary dependent upon experience.
