Our client is one of the largest E&S providers in the country. With offices throughout the east coast and western United States, they offer commercial excess and specialty business through a network of wholesale general agents. They currently offer an opportunity to join their transportation department as a commercial underwriter. You'll target small to medium-sized premium accounts and underwrite coverage like auto liability and physical damage. The successful candidate will have experience underwriting commercial auto, dump trucks and wrecker operations. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a commercial auto underwriter is required with an emphasis in excess and/or surplus lines a plus. College degree is preferred. Salary is based on experience.
