Our client is the fastest growing auto insurer in the United States for the last thirteen years. They presently offer two opportunities to join their organization as a Product Manager and a Regional Product Manager. As Product Manager you will manage profit and loss performance for (personal) auto product in approximately 4 states. Create, revise and position auto product to increase company revenue, profit and market share; design and execute state strategic plans; gain in depth knowledge of key competitor product and pricing structure. To be considered you will need to offer a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or similar discipline. Five to ten years experience in auto insurance product management, marketing, underwriting or related discipline. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; excellent analytical skills. Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills, with proven ability to make data-driven decisions. Strong software skills and experience using Microsoft Excel, Access (or related database) and PowerPoint. As the Regional Product Manager, you will develop overall strategic direction for reduction of acceptable loss ratios in your assigned states. Develop key metrics, implement metrics and strategies, and monitor results to achieve acceptable loss ratio performance in your regional area of responsibility. To be considered for this role you will need to offer a MBA or BA in finance, business, or related area. Around ten (10) years of auto product management experience preferably in underwriting or actuarial in increasingly responsible positions. Functional experience including underwriting, claims, actuarial, product development or marketing. Previous exposure to Senior Management in strategic development to achieve targeted underwriting skills. Analytic and quantitative skills and working knowledge of actuarial and underwriting analyses.
