Our client has an "Excellent" rating by AM Best. They are a mono workers compensation Insurance Carrier, writing workers compensation products on a national basis. They currently offer an opportunity for a Workers Compensation Underwriting Manager to lead one of their Regional offices based in Orlando, Florida. Responsibilities will include all technical and administrative functions managing a group of workers compensation underwriting professionals. To be considered, you will need to offer around seven or more years in workers compensation underwriting with a property and casualty Insurance Company, in addition to at least 2 years in a management, supervisory, or team leader position. Strong leadership, technical underwriting and, marketing skills in building relationships with independent agents, and above average communication and organization skills a must. Florida experience is helpful. Training and mentoring personnel is a key, as well as having the ability to interrelate with other operating departments. CPCU and a college degree are also helpful.
