Our client is an international property and casualty insurance company. They offer specialty insurance products and reinsurance programs to a variety of niche markets. Their market strategy enables them to develop expertise and specialized market knowledge. They currently offer an opportunity to join their underwriting team as a senior commercial lines underwriter. In this position you'll be responsible for underwriting excess general liability coverage. You'll work closely with standard market underwriting teams to coordinate excess products and you'll target small to middle market clientele. You'll be assigned a territory that will be your responsibility to develop agency relationships. Expect some travel to visit your agents. A bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of underwriting experience is required. Working towards or completion of a professional designation is preferred.
