Our client is a leading innovator in insurance and banking software. Their award-winning solutions enable clients to acquire, service, and build customer relationships, reduce operating costs, and increase product development and maintenance capacity. They are looking to add to staff in their Hartford, CT location in the capacity of a Project Manager. This is a challenging position that will require highly developed strategic sales skills, disability industry knowledge, and a proven track record. You will define the project resource structure and source appropriate resources from practice centers. Establish overall team communication structures and methods to be implemented. Implement clear lines of responsibility and accountability for effective team structures. Define the project plan through identification of appropriate scope and manage these throughout the duration of the project. Conduct risk analysis for the project. Oversee the output of appropriate project reports for both internal development and customer implementation. Liase with internal departments to determine the scope of the project and communicate progress, delays, issues, and risks associated with the development of the project. Review development processes with a view to continuously leverage experience and knowledge on an ongoing basis. Qualified candidates will have an in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry with a focus on the disability market. Also will have a minimum of five years of experience selling 'big ticket' solutions in the insurance industry. Good understanding of the business benefits of enterprise solutions a must.
