Our client is a leading innovator in insurance and banking software. Their award-winning solutions enable clients to acquire, service, and build customer relationships, reduce operating costs, and increase product development and maintenance capacity. They are looking to add to staff in their Hartford, CT location in the capacity of a Product Implementation Consultant. This is a senior role on the project team for this growth opportunity and will have primary responsibility for directing the functional shape of the customer solution. Working closely with the project manager and other consultants, the role demands and excellent understanding of the business, the product suite and software development process. You will map customer requirements to existing components of the product suite. Also will need to be creative in generating detailed solution ideas and have communication skills commensurate with the customer-facing nature of the role. Design and own the overall functional solution, including both product and custom elements. Generate design proposals for required application custom enhancements. Qualified candidates will have 6-8 years of experience implementing software packages. Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiating skills a must. Data modeling, software design, and development background preferred. Also experience with financial services or insurance a plus.
