Our client is a leading innovator in insurance and banking software. Their award-winning solutions enable clients to acquire, service, and build customer relationships, reduce operating costs, and increase product development and maintenance capacity. They are looking to add to staff in their Hartford, CT location in the capacity of a Business Consultant. You will work closely with our clients' technical consultants and developers, responsible for gathering customer requirements and translating them into business conditions to be included in the product suite. Duties will include identifying and developing the business case for the software solutions with prospective customers. Conduct and facilitate customer evaluation studies and provide the business input to customer evaluation reports. Also conduct and facilitate customer workshops for detailed identification of business requirements. Gather and manage the business requirements throughout the life of the project using appropriate methodologies. Liase directly with the customers to ensure the smooth delivery and implementation of the solutions. Conduct process mapping and business process reengineering where appropriate to refine business benefits for the customer. To represent the customer and carry out all sign-offs for analysis, development, and testing to ensure the customer requirements have been understood and developed as documented. Qualified candidates will have training delivery skills, workshop facilitation and presentation skills, and a strong knowledge of claims management. Project implementation experience required. Experience documenting and communicating business requirements a distinct advantage. Experience working in a vendor environment on client sites a plus. Some travel required.
