Our client is one of the fastest growing and most successful market leaders in the financial services industry. Through their exclusive carrier relationships they develop, market, and administer innovative annuity products and long-term care insurance that they distribute through a nationwide network of independent financial professionals. They are currently seeking a Product Promotions Leader for either CA or GA. This individual will develop fully integrated communications strategies to promote fixed annuity products effectively through in-depth product and industry knowledge, as well as insight into field marketing and sales. Translate product specs and policy forms into clear, compelling, easy-to-understand language for field salespeople and potential policyholder target audiences. Lead management of the customer's experience through product marketing materials. Build team synergy to meet aggressive deadlines and to support the vision and image of the company. Develop promotional plans and campaigns for new and existing products. Maximize exposure of products and identify innovative ways to promote products within budget. Lead core cross-functional teams to implement new product rollout campaigns and existing product promotion. Drive both achievement and effectiveness of results using problem-solving to resolve barriers, networking to building consensus and support, field input and feedback, and measurements to improve outcomes. Negotiate with compliance staff internally and at the carrier to get marketing materials approved. Provide feedback to marketing and product development on effectiveness of product features, contract language, and administrative procedures relating to processing business. Qualified candidates will have 7-10 years of experience developing promotions for annuity products, preferably fixed annuities, including promotion to independent distribution channel. BA in marketing, business administration, communications, or economics preferred. Strong creative writing and editing skills for sale literature.
