They presently offer an opportunity to join their organization as the National Healthcare Director. In this very key, visible role you will have full profit and loss responsibility for our client's Health Care Branch. This branch focuses on both employer/employee groups and Health Care providers with the marketing of their Employer Stop Loss and Provider Excess portfolio of products. In this role you will lead the organization to present a unified, cohesive, and consistent face and brand to the market place. To be considered you will need to offer extensive A&H experience and a broad understanding of the industry issues, products, distribution, regulatory oversight, and compliance. You will posses 10-15 years of technical/actuarial experience underwriting Stop Loss and other Accident & Health (A&H) related products for a major insurer. You should have at least five years experience managing an underwriting operation. Strong management skills are a must, along with the ability to develop and manage a cohesive marketing strategy to drive business results with key producers. You must have a record of success in leading, coaching and developing people. You will need an excellent understanding of field operations. You must have excellent analytical skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to interact with all levels of staff both internally and externally, including Practice, Zone, and Zone Underwriting Manager.
