Our client is a large, independent agency that provides property/casualty insurance nationwide. With an impeccable reputation in the insurance agency community their staff of 200+ employees is growing. They currently offer an opportunity to join their sales team as a producer in their transportation program division. In this position you will be responsible for actively generating new business revenue. You will be required to meet face-to-face to qualify prospects, tailor the program to their specific operations and arrange for appropriate loss control services. You will also meet with regional program directors for presentations and market the program at industry trade shows. Extensive travel is involved and you can work from your home. To be considered, you will need a proven sales and client retention record. A bachelors degree and current insurance license is required; CIC and/or CPCU designations are preferred. 5-10 years of insurance sales experience with a strong transportation background.
