They currently offer an opportunity to join their underwriting department. This underwriter spot will be primarily focused on their workers compensation product. In this role of Work Comp Underwriter, you will review underwriting information, provided by agents and producers, to determine acceptability of the risk. Upon acceptance of the risk, you will then identify proper coverages to apply based on the information available and provide a quote. If the quote is then accepted, you will prepare the application and set terms for issuance. Renewals will be handled in this same manner. To be considered you will need to offer around four years of applicable commercial underwriting experience. Your background does not need to be focused on work comp, but should include the underwriting of work comp. Relocation assistance is available. Salary will depend upon experience.
