Our client is a stable force for over 75 years in the insurance and financial services industry and ranks among the nation's top 100 multi-line insurance groups. They offer a 'Superior' rating by A.M. Best. Because of their growth, they presently offer an opportunity to join their staff underwriting department as a Workers Compensation Product Consultant. In this role you will serve as product/underwriting expert for our client's work comp products. You will actively manage the performance of workers compensation products, initiatives and other related product functions. This will include monitoring product performance, identifying opportunities to improve performance, working with line operations to implement improvement programs, field liaison and consultation with other operations/offices. Lead key initiatives to address the product strategy and growth and profitability objectives. Accountable for product results. Provide technical assistance and consultation to state/regional underwriting and services leadership. To be considered you will need to offer around eight years work comp underwriting experience. Our client prefers field management experience. Insurance industry coursework such as CPCU highly desirable. Requires proven knowledge of work comp products, insurance company operations, field and staff functions, industry trends, and project management.
