Our client has been a stable force for over 75 years in the insurance and financial services industry and ranks among the nation's top 100 multi-line insurance groups. They offer a 'Superior' rating by A.M. Best. Because of their growth, they presently offer an opportunity to join their staff loss control department. This is a newly created position that offers a great deal of visability within the entire organization. This is not a loss control field consultant position. In this role you could be involved in three different functions depending on your strengths and knowledge. This could include: Technology--Interface with IT on technology-related loss control programs and initiatives, including loss control automation and loss control internet and intranet sites. Training--Develop and implement training for new and existing loss control associates. Technical--Develop consistency across our client's regions in technical matters and interpretations through research from applicable standards/regulations, including OSHA, NFPA, DOT, and local building codes. To be considered you will need to offer eight or more years loss control experience within an insurance environment. Undergraduate studies in occupational/industrial safety, and/or engineering preferred. Attainment of Certified Safety Professional, Associate of Loss Control Management, Associate Safety Professional or Associate in Risk Management desired.
