They are among the top 100 property and casualty insurers in the U.S. They presently offer an opportunity to join their organization in a regional operation as a Commercial Lines Manager. In this role you will manage and develop the commercial lines department to ensure growth in market share, production and profitability to achieve branch business objectives. You will plan and direct the commercial lines underwriting functions within the middle market and large account lines of business. Assure technical compliance through adequate underwriting controls. Provide technical guidance and direction to the regional commercial underwriting personnel in the underwriting of commercial risks. Analyze and stay abreast of the commercial lines marketplace in the region. Develop strategies to seize market opportunities including rollover books. To be considered you will need to offer around seven or more years of related commercial lines underwriting experience, to include supervisory experience, with demonstrated achievements and progressive responsibilities. Comprehensive knowledge of the technical aspects of commercial underwriting, including large accounts and familiarity with loss control, premium audit and rating.
