They offer a full range of managed health care, life and disability insurance, and defined contribution plans. They are presently creating a MGU to be located in Atlanta, GA. This dedicated MGU will handle the administration of their specialty Risk/Stop Loss business. This has created an opportunity for an Operations Manager with strong underwriting management experience. To be considered, you must be technically strong in Stop Loss underwriting. In addition, our client would like someone who has worked in a MGU environment as well as experience working for an insurance carrier. The MGU experience is key as this person will be responsible for the initial set-up, integration and operations management of this newly created MGU. The carrier experience is key as this will be a dedicated MGU servings business for a carrier. The understanding of the carrier corporate environment will be critical.
